Summer is coming and a time of year when we drink the lighter and fruitier styles of wine. It is a time when Rosé becomes a popular drink. The 2017 wines have all been released. A Rosé is a Rosé is a Rosé? Not so as we shall discover. Do you know the difference between a Rosé and a Blanc de Noir? We shall explore the different styles and types of Rosé – still and sparkling, dry and sweet – and show you the ones you like and how to buy them. All are welcome – real men drink Rosé too!

About the meetings

We meet monthly on Tuesday evenings in Wynberg at 7.00 for 7.30pm. Six wines are showcased at each meeting. You will receive an information folder and there is a cheese board after. The R200 per person fee covers costs. You also have the opportunity to order any of the wines tasted. Full details will be sent out before each meeting. RSVP essential.
