It’s been a lot of fun thinking about and planning our next meeting – tasting and choosing the wines is such a hard task!

Many thanks to all the new members who have asked to join via FaceBook. We are growing fast but please do ask your friends to join, follow and share widely too.

On Thursday 16 February we shall meet as usual in Wynberg at 6.30 for 7.00pm. The theme for this month is ‘Chardonnay and Shiraz’. It naturally follows on from the initial learning-to-taste meeting. We shall taste a range of styles of each grape variety – 8 wines in all – and finish with out usual tasty cheese platter. I am writing note now for you to take away and keep and to add to those already in your folder.

Please do let me know that you can come so that I can make sure I have enough glasses and wine so you enjoy the evening to the full.

P.S. Please add Thursday 16 March too in your diary. The theme is all about LOW and HIGH price wines with some blind tasting, with 4 white and 4 red wines. Can you taste the difference? Which wines do you like the best? It always surprises I can assure you and is one of the most fun tasting evenings.
