I am so excited to be getting ready for the first meeting of the Cape Wine Lovers’ Society at 6.30 for 7.00 on Thursday 19 January in Wynberg, Southern Suburbs.

The wines have mostly been chosen, glasses bought and vineyards visited. There’s more to be done to take bookings, prepare tasting notes, and more background research. It’s a real pleasure and fun to be focused on making our first meeting so special.

The meeting will introduce wine enthusiasts, whether novice or expert, how to taste wine. We shall do so by exploring the major white and red grape varieties from vineyards in the Constantia Valley. After, a cheeseboard snack will be served.

You will also have the opportunity to order from the wines selected for the evening.
